Research

For over forty years the Research Department of Allergy and Asthma Medical Group and Research Center (AAMGRC) has been involved in the evaluation of medications being developed for the control of hay fever, asthma and other allergy or respiratory related problems. Drs. Welch, Ostrom, Greiner and Laubach are board-certified allergists with expertise in the treatment of allergic, non-allergic and infectious disorders affecting the respiratory, skin and gastrointestinal systems. Research opportunities may be available for patients who experience allergy and asthma symptoms, as well as heartburn, sinusitis, influenza or other disorders.
There are research opportunities for all ages. The physicians’ leadership in local and national organizations and educational endeavors keeps them at the forefront of knowledge regarding advances in the treatment of these disorders. In addition to these physicians, the research team includes other physicians, our research manager, nurse practitioner, nurses, respiratory technologists and paramedical personnel with expertise in the area of clinical research.
Your choice to become involved in a clinical study should provide you with greater awareness of your medical condition as well as the process of development of medication to treat it. You could be part of an ongoing process which could be of benefit to all patients in the long run.
