Multidisciplinary Programs
Our physicians and research coordinators also help run multiple multidisciplinary clinics at Rady Children's Hospital for severe asthma and eczema! Patient education and quality assurance is a central mission of both clinics.
Multidisciplinary Atopic Dermatitis Program (MADP)
MADP is a collaborative program with the UC San Diego Health Division of Dermatology for severe eczema. Patients see an allergist, dermatologist and clinical pharmacist in a single visit and receive specialized and comprehensive care.
Severe Asthma Clinic (SAC)
The AAFA Severe Asthma Program (SAP) clinic is a specialized clinic to evaluate patients with severe asthma who may benefit from comprehensive evaluation, therapy and education. This is a collaborative program that involves evaluations by a pulmonologist, allergists, respiratory therapist and clinical pharmacist.
